Kishinev – Orhei
In the morning, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. Depart for the ancient city of Old Orhei city – a unique natural and historical open-air complex. It organically combines the natural landscape with vestiges of ancient civilizations. As a result of enormous archeological excavations here, remnants from the Paleolithic, Eneolithic, and Iron Age were all discovered here. The culture of Geto-Dacians of the Early and Late Middle Ages is represented by the remains of earthen and wooden fortresses and two medieval towns – Shehr al-Djedid (town of the Golden Horde period) and the Moldovan town Orhei. Afterwards, depart for the Cricova winery and labyrinths (protected by UNESCO), which have about 60 kilometers of underground tunnels that are capable of holding more than 30 million liters of wine at any given time. Enjoy lunch and wine tasting in the Cricova cellars. Return to Kishinev. Free time at your own disposal. Dinner in a traditional restaurant.

Kisinev (Capriana monastery & Milestii Mici wine cellars)
In a picturesque forest area, only 40km north – west of Kishinev, lies Capriana Convent – one of the oldest in Moldova (1429). Founded by great Moldovan rulers like Stefan the Great, Capriana convent served as the headquarters of Moldova’s bishop for many years. Closed and dilapidated during the post-war period, it was reopened again in 1989, becoming a symbol of national revival. Lunch and wine tasting at the Milestii Mici winery. Return to Kishinev.
